HOT PICK.
Margaret Cho is back with another live film documenting her latest one-woman show. Cho is a take-no-prisoners comic, relentlessly attacking America’s taboos and those who aim to keep them in place. It’s refreshing to see Cho succeed in film and on the tour circuit after her ABC TV show “All-American Girl” was dropped soon after it began. She has capitalized on that failure, using the pressure to lose weight put on her by ABC as content for her show. – Laura Waskin

Comedian Margaret Cho carries candid sexual humor into previously unchartered territory in her over-the-edge paradoxical concert film who’s abundant sexual profanity is slung with a conversational casualness that divests it of anger and shock value.
